Pierre-Henry Mewesen, maître in 1766.
Pierre-Harry Mewesen, of Swedish origin, became a master in 1766 and set up shop on rue du Faubourg-Saint-Antoine, at "la main d'or", where he remained for around twenty years, until the revolution. A cabinetmaker of great talent, he left a few pieces of Louis XV furniture, but above all works in the Transition and Louis XVI styles, made with taste and a great deal of imagination.
